This is the express menu available for lunch Mon-Friday 12.00-2.30,
and evenings Mon-Thurs 5.30-7.00 pm
Choose either a starter and main or a main and a dessert.
Starters
Potato Bhajia’s
Thin slices of potatoes coated in a light batter of gram flour, garlic,
ginger and chillies, served with tamarind and date sauce.
Mixed Bhajia’s
A mixture of vegetable and onion pakora’s served alongside darl
lentil bhajia’s.
Chicken Tikka
Breast pieces of chicken, marinated with yougart, fenugreek and mint
and then cooked in tandoori oven.
Shish Kebabs
Minced lamb, marinated in ginger and mint cooked in tandoori oven, and
coated in ground spices.
Mains
Chicken Tikka
Marinated cubes of breast of chicken served cooked in creamy Masala gravy
of tomatoes and ground spices, with pulao rice.
Lamb Chittnadu
New Zealand lamb curried in a rich sauce of shallots and tomatoes, served
with steamed rice.
Chicken Madras
Red and Green chillies shallow fried with spices, along with cubes of
chicken breast and tomatoes and onions, served with naan bread
Desserts
Carrot Halwa
Freshly grated carrots soaked in a sweet honey syrup and mixed with ground
cardamom and nutmeg. Served warm
Ice cream
Almond flavoured Ice cream coated with flaked almonds. |
